Recently I chose to take a dance class for no reason other than it brings me joy and moves my body. A small thing, but here’s the surprising part: the choice itself mattered more than the activity. The moment I said yes to something that delighted me, I felt the field around me shift. I was in alignment. The air cleared. I felt more alive and freer. Something new became possible.
That’s coherence. Not transcendence. Not escape. Just the simple power of an intentional choice rippling outward.
Where Do You Invest Your Energy?
It’s easy to drift through a day on autopilot, adding our energy to whatever is loudest or most habitual. But when we pause and choose, when we become intentional with what we contribute, the pattern changes.
What are you adding your energy to these days? What projects, people, ideas, and norms? Where is your attention flowing? And does that place feel like what you want to be creating more of?
Lately, I’ve been sensing a subtle but undeniable rise in consciousness; a clarity, a spaciousness, a beckoning. And yet, I’m still in the mystery of it. It feels like the chrysalis stage: gooey, somewhat uncomfortable, and full of possibility.

Living Into the Intention
Each year I choose an intention to orient myself. This year it’s Pathways to the Art of Living – A Creative Lifestyle. Not as some future destination, but as the path I’m actively walking. Every yes, every no, every boundary, every small choice moves me closer or farther. I schedule time to paint, to write, to dance, to make slow fermented sourdough bread. I say no to opportunities that aren’t a full-on YES for me.
There’s no magical door that opens into “Suzanne’s Creative Lifestyle.” There is only this: present-moment choice after present-moment choice.
Intentional Chemistry: The Biology of Beauty
Literally, every choice you make generates chemistry in your body. Hormones. Neurotransmitters. Frequencies. When you choose beauty, gratitude, or delight, your biochemistry shifts. This isn’t wishful thinking but biology meeting intention.
A soft shirt. The right teacup. Clear water. Kindness. Things that make you smile. Movement. Rest. Food that delights your senses and your body.
These aren’t indulgences. They’re alchemical tools.
They populate your day with the frequency of life you want. They bring the future into the now. They create the chemistry that manifestation requires.
